Wedding planning as a couple can be stressful.
Couples face a wall of decisions with no roadmap: From finding venues to napkin rentals, most couples don't know what they don't know, and the tools available are spreadsheets, Pinterest boards, generic apps.
What if planning your wedding felt like talking to someone who'd done it before?
The core question wasn't 'how do we organize wedding tasks?' it was 'how do we make couples feel confident and connected from day one?' That reframe shifted the product from a productivity tool to a guided experience.
We mapped the full planning journey before writing a line of code.
I conducted user interviews with recently married couples to map where stress peaked, where decisions clustered, and what information people wished they'd had earlier.
AI deals with complexity but we handle the emotions.
Large language models generate personalized timelines, vendor shortlists, and budget breakdowns based on each couple's inputs. But the interface needed to feel human, conversational, unhurried, and emotionally aware of what this moment means in someone's life. That meant listening to peoples stories and designing an app that helps couples through the process instead of overloading them with AI slop.
A big decision requires a lot of research
The outcome is a resource that helps couples research vendors and ideas, compile them into a handoff sheet for wedding coordinators, and prepare for their wedding days.
